Meeting guy from online? Ok so im seventeen and met this twenty year old guy online, and i added him on facebook, and we've been chatting for a few weeks. We instantly clicked. I know any two people can get along when chatting online, but we’ve lots in common and hes a really sweet guy. We always tell each other how much we like each other, and how much we miss each other, and in general we just have really good, nice conversations. He lives about three hours away from me though, and hes offered to drive down to come visit me next week and we can go out for dinner in a town nearby me. He wasnt forcing it on me, and he asked me in a really sweet way and we’re both so excited. Some people have told me “a twenty year old wanting to meet a seventeen year old only has one thing on his mind” blah blah blah which has made me quite paranoid, but i dont think hes like that. There are people in relationships with much larger age gaps, so i dont see why this is a big deal. Im quite mature for my age anyway. I’ve a full time, well paid job and im very independant. Im not a silly little teenager. Also, any guy, any age, no matter where you met him, could be a sex pest. Just because i met him online doesnt mean he just wants to get in my pants. Surely if thats all he wanted he would go out clubbing somewhere nearer to his home and try and get girls?? Also, he likes travelling, so im not suprised hes willing to travel a few hours to see me. Three hours is probably nothing to him although i like this guy and know he has good motives, im slightly nervous. Im a worrier anyway, so its in my personality to find something to worry about, but i dont know why.
